Solid Tops

These covers are generally used within the utilities industry and often installed in water treatment works or other areas where lids will be regularly opened by a single operator and need to conform to manual handling single lift regulations. Covers are fabricated from heavy gauge plate with a floor plate cover and available in galvanised mild steel, stainless steel or aluminium. They are locked and fitted with a hand operated safety stay as standard. All hinges are integral to prevent tampering and obstruction of the clear opening. This has the added benefit of allowing removal of the lids if necessary. These covers can be manufactured to conform to a wide range of loadings, sealing types and lid sizes and parts. Like many of the other solid tops they can also be fabricated with lots of options such as safety barriers, padlock facility peepholes, and safety grilles.
